Tomorrow is the 10th. Light a candle for our Princess Snowflake!!!
12:47 pm – As I sit at home today still not feeling the greatest, I wonder if it is one of the flus going around or just stress release from the past 3 months (minus a day) of running around dealing with ‘stuff’ related to Amanda. I know that if it weren’t for her story or our tragedy, some of what is happening in the world wouldn’t be happening. I just got this email from a work colleague who is watching some kids on a playground “Carol, you’d love to see this… I’m at xxxxxx right now, watching 2 students in their pink snowflake shirts, leading 15 other students in an anti-bullying group, during their lunch. It’s awesome! :)” Now I find that so wonderful to hear. We have to imagine, those pink shirts wouldn’t be there if it weren’t for Amanda. The pink bracelets wouldn’t be circulating around the world if it weren’t for Amanda. It is alot of work trying to make her not be forgotten. I can’t do it alone. BUT ALSO, I don’t think it would be happening if I weren’t here pushing it. I sit here today and look at pictures of her and what we have doing … it mays me cry and smile at the same time.
P.S. Have you heard the bullying commercial on the radio. I have only heard it on 94.5 The Beat. It really hits the mark!! Also, today a news article was published by Winnipeg Free Press – Facebook charges a lesson for others (Jan 9).
4:20 pm – I just read an article about how the conspiracy theorists – Sandy Hook truthers – think that one of the children that died in the Sandy Hood incident is alive and well. Like OMG!! Leave us families alone for frick sake …
MORE LATER ….(it appears that when I write, it calms me down)
