March 19th – Part 2

Just some interesting articles for those that might have missed them.  I haven’t written anything anecdotal.  I have spent the night reading various articles on social media and it’s perils, about Steubenville and about mental health care facilities around my province.  All interesting. All takes time.  Also in between, answering emails and FB messages.  I do ask myself sometimes how it can be that I can hold so many conversations at any one time.  However, I do lose strands of them.  I actually started some visual organizers on people I have met in the past 5 months and have grouped them into parents, kids and new friends who are part of the Snowflake Army.

Steubenville Rapist to Appeal Because His ‘Brain Isn’t Fully Developed’ – http://www.theatlanticwire.com/national/2013/03/steubenville-rapist-appeal/63290/

Since his defense strategy, claiming that a 16-year-old rape victim wasn’t “so” drunk, has failed, the lawyer for one of the two Steubenville football players convicted of rape plans to appeal a guilty verdict, and is now claiming that the 16-year-old rapist’s brain wasn’t “developed” enough and his client should not have to be on a sex offenders list for life.

Yesterday I signed the petition ” B.C. needs to provide emergency mental health services for children” on Change.org. >>> takes all of 30 sec’s to fill in a couple lines (name, address, email )
Please don’t be a bystander, Get involved… It feels good.

It’s important. Will you sign it too? Here’s the link:
