The ferry ride home was great. Getting to the ferry was a bit hectic. I had a 12:00 coffee with someone interested in social media from the mainland but was in Victoria for business. Then I met a FB friend that I only have known since October. That was cool to meet and chat but I did have to rush off to catch the ferry. Did I think I might be late for it. Just a little. But it was the guy in front of me that got the ticket. Stopped right before the ferry ticket window. I was just following thank goodness. The ferry ride home was beautiful. Didn’t feel like a 1.5 hour trip. Now the drive back home took just as long as it was rush hour. Gotta love Victoria and it’s less hectic traffic.
Birthday wishes have been coming in all night. Were they early ones or what? Someone did remind me that not everyone lived on PST time though. What can i say? I am just amazed and flattered by them all. Young people and older friends. Holy comolly!!
I am going back to the Victoria area in May. I hope to see everyone that I wasn’t able to then. I didn’t realize how many people I did know there.
Also figured out that I am so tired from the trip. Might have been the late nights and the wine. Then the early morning noises of a family that are early risers. Definitely not me.
Men’s t-shirts came in today. They look great. The colours came out so very well. Proud to wear them.
Need to sleep and re-energize. Lots to do tomorrow too. Hmm… let’s see… sleep in … Cactus Club with friends … then dinner with my family. 🙂 Love it!! Red or white grape juice???

Ten pennies for October tenth,I like it.It reminds me of the poem (Pennies from Heaven) that was posted on one of Amanda’s memoral pages .Since then I’ve found two pennies oddly enough on the gravel road between our house and the highway. Happy Bithday again I hope it’s a good one.

Same here, i have plenty of pennies stashed away, so ill be good for a while. Sounds like it was a wonderful trip, travelling can be draining though. Hoping you have an excellent Birthday, always great to spend such a special day with friends and family.
