It was with great pride that this year when Amanda’s Legacy announced they would be supporting and participating in the Kids Help Phone Walk So Kids Can Talk 2015 walk, that Justin Preston from Rise Against Bullying stepped up and offered his support to Amanda’s Legacy and KHP.  (As well, there were other young people who also supported and collected donations.)

From that moment, Justin got the bug in his ear to do this, he set forth with enthusiasm, energy and a new understanding of the words ‘Believe in Yourself’.  He also learned a lesson about not letting others knock you down. And if that should happen, then to rise again like the phoenix and do what you do best in the world.

During the time of the KHP Walk campaign, Justin posted on his social media as well as going campaigning around his community.  He had opportunities for interviews and gained support from his local government and the many citizens who live in Fort Erie, Ontario.

Today, Kids Help Phone went out to where Justin lives, inFort Erie, Ontario.  They wanted to meet him, certificate him (see photo below) and most importantly —> to THANK HIM personally for his efforts.  In this day and age where we see so many negative media reports of young people, it is time to CALL OUT those that are #heroes.

Stand with me and give a CLAP OF SUPPORT for Justin!!  #sayitwithsnowflakes2015
