“My Name is Amanda Todd”

JUNO NOMINEE ALERT!!! “My Name is Amanda Todd” (written and composed by @ Jocelyn Morlock) has been nominated for a 2018 Juno Award in the category of Classical Composition of the Year. The National Arts Centre symphony premiered “Life Reflected” in Ottawa in 2016.

Thank you to Jocelyn for believing in Amanda’s story and making it such an emotional and hopeful piece of music. It is one to be shared and listened to always.

To Jocelyn Morlock – it gives me both goosebumps and warm feelings in my heart at the same time that you were able to understand Amanda’s feelings and transpose it into something magical, memorable and hopeful. This was something that Amanda always wanted in life. To be around singers and have her name remembered. Sadly, it is in death and not life. Thank you for being able to personify Amanda’s story and share it in a way that is different and unique. Just like the snowflakes that are meaningul to Amanda’s story.

About Carol Todd

Being the mother of Amanda Todd has lead me on this journey shortly after Amanda's death on October 10, 2012. Amanda's prolific You Tube video has been viewed over 33 million times. Through this video, there has been an increased awareness about cyberbullying, social media safety and mental health. www.amandatoddlegacy.org
