Day 17 after October 10 – (for Amanda)

Day 17 (October 27) – Rave. I did it. I read the words I had written to Amanda at her service. I think I did okay. People clapped at the end. After letting the last guest go home from having people over at the house, I am exhausted. Until tmrw, good nite my friends.

About Carol Todd

Being the mother of Amanda Todd has lead me on this journey shortly after Amanda's death on October 10, 2012. Amanda's prolific You Tube video has been viewed over 33 million times. Through this video, there has been an increased awareness about cyberbullying, social media safety and mental health. www.amandatoddlegacy.org

    Made for t.v. movie Cyberbully.
    Amanda knew of this movie.
In Amanda’s you tube video, it is the 2’nd song she played, that same song is embedded in this movie.

    O.K. Tristan,
Yes you are right, the one I was talking about was at The Red Robinson
Theatre. I seen it Live too, via livestream.
    Anyways, thanks for correcting me.

yes, it was definitely an emotional experience watching it, could almost feel the vibes of the room right from home. There is a link at the top of this page filed under “Amanda Stuff” where you can view the entire ceremony start to finish for anyone wishing to see it again 🙂

I believe This would of been the first memorial service, the private one “family and friends”. The one your speaking of Rob was the second memorial at the Red Robinson Theatre, November 18th, Celebration of Life and Birthday for Amanda. But yes i agree it was a beautiful service, i seen it live , via livestream, and just recently watched it again. Very emotional, i couldnt help but break down, during the acoustic performance as well as the speakers story’s, especially the one from the neighbor.
